Born in Dundgobi, Mongolia, Mandaakhai is a skilled Morin Khuur player, throat singer, and musician. Since 2010, he has promoted Mongolian music across Europe, collaborating with various groups.
Passionate about world cultures and the music that brings them to life. As a student of Hindustani sitar, he explores music’s power to connect. Until he can visit Mongolia, he brings it's spirit alive in his village through this festival.
Born in Naran Bulag, Mongolia, Nemekhee studied Khuuchir at Zavkhan College. He played in orchestras and learned throat singing from master Sengedorj. Since 2015, he has performed across Europe.
Rowan discovered Mongolian music in 2005 and soon traveled to Mongolia to explore its culture. Now, he and his wife dedicate themselves to sharing Mongolian music and traditions in the Netherlands.
Lea performs as Moonlüs, a duo with Mandaakhai Daansuren blending Mongolian music and minimalist electronics. She is passionate about throat singing (Khoomei) and Long Song (Urtiin Duu).
